Everyone is worried about proper sterilization and infection control techniques. The Dhuga Dental Centre team ensures the cleanliness and sterility of the dental operatories through proper instrument sterilization using the Midmark autoclave with all our dental instruments. Further, every surface of the dental operatory is wiped down with a disinfectant after every patient. Barrier techniques are used throughout every dental procedure such as masks and gloves for all team members in the dental operatories as well as disposable barriers on equipment and items we are using during your dental appointment. Throughout all of our procedures, city water or “tap water” is never used in our dental units. Each piece of dental equipment has a self-contained distilled water source which runs the units. At the end of each day the waterlines in every dental operatory are flushed with a disinfectant to ensure the most sterile conditions for your dental treatments. Further, with our open concept dental operatories and sterilization centre, nothing is hidden away from our patients – you can see everything we are doing at all times.
